GreenTeam Uni Stuttgart e.V.

The GreenTeam Uni Stuttgart e.V. was founded in 2009 and currently consists of around 65 Students from a variety of educational backgrounds. The goal of the founders was to take on the challenge of an ever-increasing shift to a purely electric Formula Student racecar. Experience could be drawn from the development of highly successful combustion engine racecars in the Rennteam Uni Stuttgart e.V. The electrification meant engaging in new topics like control engineering, power electronics and driving dynamics — and a lot of pioneer work in these sectors.Starting with this season, the project of developing a fully autonomous and electric powered racecar has been included entirely into the GreenTeam. The project members can rely on experience of the support association, which already launched the project in 2016.

Exchange of experience and knowledge transfer are of great importance to our work and we have already established a lot of strong partnerships in industry and economy. All of this, combined with the high level of creative freedom for the prospective engineers, leads to an enormous innovative strength in each field of work. Our team spirit is strengthened by various group activities and team building events.

The GreenTeam can look back on a successful past. Since 2010 the team has consistently been a member of the top 10 teams in the world ranking list of electric Formula Student racecars.
