Successes

After an eight-month development period and a short testing phase, the first competition at Hockenheim followed in August 2010 (Formula-Student-Electric Germany) for the GreenTeam with the E0711-1.

Because of consistently excellent results in the individual events, with victories in the business plan presentation, the skid pad, the acceleration and autocross, the GreenTeam did receive the overall victory in the first formula student electric competition with a very spectacular and superior run in the 22km-long Endurance.

 

The experience of the first contest influenced directly the further coordination processes during the following days of testing. However, because of a technical defect, the team had to cancel the participation in the second formula student electric competition in Barcelona. A short time later the technical problem, which determined the defect, has been solved and the team was able to participate with a well prepared car at the next formula student electric competition in Turin. After a nearly perfect competition, the team reached  the second overall victory in 2010 with the E0711-1.
